Avicii(アヴィーチー)という男

現地時間2018年4月20日午後

訪問先のオマーンの首都マスカットで

彼は多くの作品を遺しこの世を去りました

EDMといって思いつくアーティストといえば

やはりアヴィーチー

彼がEDM界のレジェンドであることは

誰もが頷けるはずです

EDMというジャンルはマニア向けなジャンルで

好き嫌いが分かれるものです

彼は様々なサウンドでアプローチし

そのジャンルを一般大衆にも拡げました

ですが私は

アヴィーチーをそこまで聴いていません

彼がEDMの“スタンダード”であり“教科書”

私がよく聴くEDMはもっと奇抜なものでした

とはいえ

私がよく聴くEDMアーティストの基礎にはやはり

“アヴィーチー”という存在がいて

影響を与えていたことは疑う余地がありません

アヴィーチーに影響を受けていることが伺えます

とにかく 今はただ悲しいです
